Career and College Promise Courses

North Carolina high school students have the opportunity to earn college credit FREE through Career and College Promise at NC Community Colleges. Programs formerly known as Huskins, Dual Enrollment, and Learn and Earn Online are now replaced by Career and College Promise (CCP).

The CCP partnership between Isothermal CC, Cleveland CC, and other community colleges in NC and North Carolina high schools offers students a clear, focused, and tuition-free path to future success. CCP offers structured opportunities for qualified high school students to pursue a pathway that leads to a certificate, diploma, or degree as well as providing entry-level job skills. Academic credits earned through CCP pathways will enable students to complete an undergraduate degree in less time than high school students without college credit. Public school, private school, and homeschooled students in North Carolina can participate in the CCP program.

Below are links to information about the Career and College Promise program at Isothermal Community College and Cleveland Community College. If you wish to take CCP courses at another location, contact the admissions office of that community college for more information.

NOTE – TJCA will not accept these courses to replace TJCA high school graduation requirements. You may take these courses as elective credits in high school and begin your college transcript.
