Dr. Christine Sutton joined the TJCA board in August of 2018. She currently serves on the board’s finance, personnel, curriculum, and public relations committees. Dr. Sutton is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Gardner-Webb University and the Editor of the Journal of Ethics & Entrepreneurship. She earned a B.B.A. with a double major in Finance and Accounting in 2005 and then an M.B.A. in 2007 from Augusta University. In 2014, she earned her Doctorate in Management from Kennesaw State University. Dr. Sutton’s research focuses on strategic management and stakeholder conflict. She currently teaches the capstone business strategy courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels for Gardner-Webb’s Godbold School of Business. In addition, she has private enterprise experience in real estate and small business management. Dr. Sutton resides in Rutherford County with her husband, Matt, and their children. Five of the children currently attend TJCA and one graduated in 2020.
