TJCA offers the College/University Preparation Course of Study for high school graduation.  These credits meet the UNC system schools minimum admissions requirements.

English--4 Credits (English I, II, III, IV)
Mathematics--4 Credits (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and one higher math with Algebra II as a prerequisite)
Science--3 Credits (Biological Science, Earth or Environmental Science, Physical Science)
Social Studies--3 Credits (World History, US History, Civics/Economics)
Second Language--2 Credits in the same language
Health/PE--1 Credit
Other--Recommended at least one credit in an arts discipline; Other requirements as specified by the Local Education Agency (TJCA)

In addition to the above minimum requirements, TJCA also requires students to complete the following courses:
Logic I, Logic II, Latin I, Latin II, Rhetoric, English Composition I and II, Art History, European History
(*Note: Latin I and Latin II count as the second language requirement. Logic II counts as a Discrete Math credit.)

Students must have a minimum of
28 credits in order to graduate!
